Pre-stressed "hollow core slabs - HCS" are prefabricated floor structural elements.
The product is 1200 mm wide. The weight reduction of the slabs is achieved by inner holes extending along the entire "HCS". The type of slab and pre-stressing is based and determined on the span and load. After the assembly of the "HCS", monolithization is done. "HCS" can bridge large spans without supports. The weight of these slabs is significantly lower (up to 50%) than classic monolithic slabs - which reduces the dimensions of other structural elements.
In order to facilitate the fitting of "HCS" when forming the inter-floor construction, the slabs can be cut lengthwise. The cutting width is determined by static calculation and is shown in the drawings. We achieve flexibility in the use of slabs by cutting them to any length.
